When talking about innovation, people often think of a brilliant idea or a new technology. However, transforming an idea into a real product also requires access to knowledge, resources, and connections that allow for faster progress with fewer barriers.

At SEEWELL, we have come a long way on our own, developing patented technology that improves visibility on visors and screens through its anti-fog and anti-rain system. Throughout this process, various entities within the innovation ecosystem of the Community of Madrid have joined us to help accelerate certain initiatives and open new growth opportunities.

Connecting innovation and market

One of the most valuable supports has come from the madri+d Foundation for Knowledge and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

Their collaboration has allowed us to access specialized advice on commercialization and internationalization, participate in sector events and professional fairs, and connect with organizations and potential collaborators both in Spain and other countries.

Furthermore, one of the areas we are working on jointly is sustainability. Thanks to this support, we have been able to evaluate new initiatives related to the circular economy and analyze how to integrate sustainability criteria into the future evolution of the product and the company.

Spaces for experimenting and prototyping

Innovation also needs places to test, manufacture, and improve ideas.

In this regard, collaboration with the Circular Economy Innovation Center (CIEC) and FabLab Madrid Vicálvaro has provided an opportunity to access equipment, tools, and technical knowledge oriented towards prototyping and experimentation.

More recently, this collaboration has evolved towards the development of initiatives related to the circularity of materials and components, a line of work that we consider key for the future of the industry and for the evolution of SEEWELL.

Support for local innovation

As a company based in Colmenar Viejo, we also want to acknowledge the support received from the Colmenar Viejo City Council through the call for grants for “Support for innovation and the use of new technologies in the business sector 2025”.

These types of programs allow small innovative companies to face technological investments and accelerate projects that often require significant economic efforts during their initial development phases.

Innovating is also collaborating

The history of SEEWELL demonstrates that innovation is not an isolated process. Although product development has been driven by the company itself, having an ecosystem that facilitates knowledge, resources, funding, and connections allows for faster progress and tackling new challenges with greater guarantees.

From SEEWELL, we want to thank all these entities for their support and look forward to continuing to collaborate with them to promote new initiatives related to innovation, sustainability, and the internationalization of technology developed and manufactured in the Community of Madrid.
