Before you start using Seewell, we recommend taking a few minutes to learn how it works and the correct way to use it. Although it's a simple, entirely mechanical device, familiarizing yourself with its placement and sweeping motion is key to achieving the best performance and safety on your helmet visor.
This article provides a step-by-step guide to help you use Seewell safely and confidently from the start. We recommend reading it completely and, if it's your first time, practicing at home before using it on the road to get the most out of its performance in rainy or wet conditions.
1. If this is your first time using Seewell
If this is your first time using Seewell, it's important to familiarize yourself with the device before using it in circulation .
We recommend:
- Practice the sweeping motion at home, understanding the correct path and the necessary pressure.
- Separate and join the pieces several times to recognize their magnetic behavior.
Also, on this first use it is important that you do not forget to place the included safety stickers .
These stickers act as side stops (stoppers) on the visor and prevent you from making an excessively wide movement during sweeping that could cause the device to detach.
2. How to separate Seewell
To separate the two Seewell pieces:
- Push the inner piece from the flat side .
- Next, gently pull on the protrusion to detach both parts.
👉 This procedure is exactly the same whether the pieces are joined by the sweep lip side or by opposite faces.
No additional force is required in any case.
3. Place Seewell in the helmet
Before installation, make sure the visor is clean .
For proper placement:
- Both pieces include an arrow indicating which end points upwards :
- In the inner piece , the arrow is located at the back.
- On the outer piece , the arrow is located on the sweep surface.
- Place the outer piece on the side of the visor, preferably in the lower area .
- From inside the helmet, bring the inner piece close until both are magnetized.
⚠️ Caution
During normal helmet use, be careful when raising and lowering the visor , as Seewell could interfere with the helmet's structure if positioned too high. For this reason, it is always recommended to position it at the bottom of the visor.

4. Activate Seewell to evacuate water and steam
It is recommended to operate Seewell with the motorcycle stopped , especially during the first few times of use.
For an effective sweep:
- Grab the outer piece .
- Perform the sweeping motion within the field of vision.
- Apply light pressure towards the visor screen , which improves the effectiveness of sweeping over water and fog.
⚠️ Avoid bringing Seewell close to the edges of the viewfinder.
If the inner part touches the helmet structure, there is a risk of the device becoming detached.

5. How to store Seewell
When you're not using Seewell:
- Magnetize both pieces by their flat parts , facing them towards each other.
- Make sure the sweeping lips are not folded or compressed against other objects.
Proper storage helps maintain the shape of the lips and the effectiveness of the device.

6. Precautions for use
- Check out the user guide videos to learn all the details of how to use it correctly.
- Before using Seewell on the street for the first time, practice at home .
- During the sweep, always keep the movement within the field of vision , avoiding the sides to prevent the risk of decoupling.
- Do not use Seewell if you have a Pinlock or similar device installed .
- Seewell's performance improves particularly depending on three factors:
- Presence of moisture or water on both sides of the visor (the higher the moisture, the better the performance).
- Vertical curvature of the visor (the less curvature, the better the performance).
- Viewfinder condition (the better preserved, the better the results).
- When you are driving and not operating Seewell, keep it positioned on the sides, respecting a 90-degree clear field of vision .
